Zoom retreat

About the course

In this short, practice-oriented online retreat, we will focus on the famous meditation technique of “tonglen” (“giving and taking”). Tonglen is deeply rooted in the view of Mahayana Buddhism and is the heart of a bodhisattva's practice on the path to enlightenment. The focus is on generating limitless compassion and bodhicitta, the sincere aspiration to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. During this weekend, Do Tulku Rinpoche will introduce and guide us in the philosophical background and the special visualization and breathing exercises of this practice.

This course is suitable for both beginners and advanced learners on the bodhisattva path who want to refresh their knowledge or are looking for new inspiration.

Times:

Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (German time).

The language of the course is English. A German translation is only available after prior agreement and binding registration.

Fees: on a donation basis. Please help us keep this ancient Buddhist tradition alive. You can find the different ways to donate to us here: https://en.aryatara.net/spenden
