About the course
Nowadays people who are interested in Buddhism are confronted with a variety of information and offers. On the one hand, it is wonderful that so many Buddhist teachings are now available to us in the form of books, videos, etc. On the other hand, one might wonder how and where to start. In this four-week online course (via zoom) Do Tulku Rinpoche will give a general introduction to the life and teachings of the Buddha. No previous knowledge is required to participate.
At the same time, this also marks the beginning of a new cycle within our "Bodhisattva Project", a multi-year course on the philosophy and practice of Buddhism. Participation in this introduction is also recommended for anyone interested in this course, even if you are not beginners. In this way you can get to know Do Tulku Rinpoche and check if you want to continue studying with him. More information about the Bodhisattva Project can be found here: https://en.aryatara.net/bodhisattva-project-2
Dates and times: The course takes place every Sunday afternoon in June 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., i.e. on 06/13/20 and 27/06/2021
Languages: Rinpoche teaches in English. The teachings will be translated simultaneously into German and Portuguese if needed. Please let us know if you need a translation.
Fees: on a donation basis. The donation for all four sessions (ie for a total of approx. 8 hours) will be transferred before the start of the course . Please help us maintain the ancient Buddhist tradition of donations.
